What Is PREP?<\/h4>\n

PREP (Personal Responsibility Education Program) is an 8-module curriculum that provides adolescents with the knowledge, confidence and skills necessary to reduce their risk of sexually transmitted infections\u202f(STIs), HIV and pregnancy. It is based on cognitive-behavioral theories to empower adolescents. The classes are permitted to be conducted in person or virtual. The PREP program offers stipends to students after they complete the class.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Who Is Eligible?<\/h4>\n

To be eligible to participate in the PREP class, the applicants must be 13-21 years old. To receive the stipend they must attend a minimum of 75% of the class.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
