Summary
Implement the TRAILS (Traveling Resource and Information Library System) program within a four-county area. Provide on-site training, technical assistance, coaching/mentoring, as well as developmentally appropriate resource materials and equipment to childcare providers caring for children ages birth through twelve. Provide professional development opportunities to childcare providers, link providers to resources and participate in Child Care Resource and Referral efforts to recruit childcare providers to utilize TRAILS.
Qualifications
Extensive knowledge and/or experience in the early childhood field. Knowledge of early childhood resources. Teaching or workshop training experience. Basic computer knowledge.
Education and/or Experience
Bachelor’s degree in early childhood, elementary education, special education, or child development. Master’s degree in early childhood, elementary education, special education, educational psychology, or child development is preferred. Experience with adult learners and training preparation preferred.
Must have a valid driver’s license. APS/CPS check and a clear criminal background check with no charges related to child abuse and neglect, domestic violence or drug charges.
Rate of Pay
$37,500 – $40,500 depending on experience/qualifications
